Tap for Teen Dance Students
Broadway Bound Dance Center offers superb instruction in Tap Dance. Classes in this original American dance form consist of barre—to prepare the feet and ankles; centre and flow exercises. Tap dance drills build muscle memory and develop vocabulary, speed and precision in rhythm. This art form also trains the ear to focus on clarity of sound and specific beats.
The physical benefits you get from this art form are boundless. You build coordination, muscle strength and receive the benefits of good cardiovascular training. Tap Dancing takes diligence in training and is just plain fun! That is why so many Bergen County dance students come to our studios for their formal Tap Dance training.
We apply all the physical and fun and concepts mentioned above to combination drills that are practiced at the end of each class. At the end of the class, you will feel exhilarated and accomplished. Your tap shoes are your musical instruments.
