Dance CompanyBeing a member of BBDC’s dance company is a full year commitment. Our program runs from September to June with a required summer intensive for all company members. Our company dancers participate in 3 to 4 dance competitions per season, expressing their love of dance and gaining performance experience.
Our younger team members begin their company journey with a focus on Classic Jazz technique and Basic Ballet training. As dancers move through our program, a greater emphasis is placed on classical Ballet training to insure proper technique and quality of movement.
Other styles such as Lyrical, Contemporary and Modern dance are added to their weekly syllabus once their Jazz and Ballet foundation is established.
BBDC’s dance company members have a required number of classes for each level or ‘team’.
