The more things change the more they remain the same! This rings true because for 31 years BBDC has continued to endure, and overcome. ”When things get tough, the tough get going.” That’s BBDC! I’m so proud of our dedicated staff and committed talented dancers.
Since COVID began, we’ve unwaveringly rolled with the punches, still moving onward and upward to serve our community.
This year’s 2021 recital has been reinvented and reimagined. While it may not look the same as in the past, we are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to showcase everything our dancers have accomplished, with celebration and safety going hand in hand at The Amphitheatre @ OverPeck Park
More details will be provided about our year end recital later this session, but here is some preliminary information to prepare for “Recital 2021:”
Though the venue is different, we have seized the opportunity to entertain our families and friends with of all the showing the dedication and hard work our dancers have given throughout this dance season!
Making Memories in the Park
Kick back in your beach chair, relax, feel the grass under your feet, breathe the fresh air and prepare to be wowed!
Of course, our number one goal is to create a safe and fun performance experience that’s as close to traditional as possible. We plan on hosting an in-person recital outdoors at Overpeck County Park Amphitheater in Ridgefield Park, NJ on June 14 & 15 & 16th with a rain date of the 21st- 22nd and 23rd. Students who come 1 x a week will be scheduled on one of these days. As we move forward we will update all our BBDC Families on the details as things unfold.
Our dancers have given too much sweat and time, our teachers have worked tirelessly to give their students the very best dance education possible no matter what.
The mission of BBDC’s Recitals has always been about making wonderful memories our dancers will have forever. Their memories are priceless jewels in the changing fortunes of time.
Please accept my sincerest thanks and gratitude for “dancing” with us in this year’s planning and adapting to our current state of “normal.”
The safety of our community is of the utmost priority. Throughout Recital Week, all COVID-19 policies and procedures will be in place, including mask-wearing and social distancing. We will operate under the guidelines of the NJ Department of Public Health to ensure a safe experience for all.
As BBDC gathers more info from the county on recital specifics we will release that info as we receive it.
No matter what, we are committed to producing a special, memorable performance! Thank you for walking beside us in this years recital planning, and please be assured that we are moving forward methodically. I’m so proud of the challenges we’ve overcome since the COVID Pandemic began and I know we will continue to create, innovate and do old things in new ways
The recital is about making memories that students will have forever. Stay tunes to your emails.
